Terms of Agreement
Here's your site-unseen bid! It's our best price based on what you told us, right from your phone, so you know about what your fence will cost without leaving the house. Your final price should land close to this. Before we build, a fence pro will stop by to check for any surprises and lock in your exact price.
Work scope
This contract covers only the work listed in your quote. Please review it carefully before signing.
Material price changes
Material prices can change. If your materials go up more than 2% after your quote date, we'll let you know before ordering, and you can approve the new price or cancel. This applies to materials only, not labor.
Payments
- Down payment: $1,000 or 10% of the contract, whichever is less (CA law).
- Progress payment: up to 50% once work starts, never more than the work done.
- Balance due when the job is complete.
- You can cancel within 3 days of signing.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for property lines, permits, easements, local codes and HOA rules. You'll confirm the fence location with us before we start.
Additional charges
Hard digging: $150/hour (2-person crew) if the ground needs more than a standard 2-person auger. Underground lines: we call 811 before every job. You're responsible for marking private lines like irrigation, gas, electrical or water. Repairs to unmarked private lines are $85/hour plus materials. Fence line clearing: the fence line must be clear before we start. Extra charges may apply if it isn't.
Pricing and validity
Your price is good for 7 days from the quote date. After that, we may update it for market changes. Pricing can vary from job to job. This is our best price based on what we know so far, and conditions we can't see yet may change it.
